Joe Pote P.E.

Joseph J. Pote, P.E. is Director of Research and Development at New Millennium Building Systems, LLC (New Millennium), and is located at their Hope, Arkansas facility.

Before joining New Millennium in 2010, Joe was Director of Research and Development at CMC Joist & Deck, where he had previously held positions starting as Design Engineer and working up through Chief Design Engineer, Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.  Joe has been an active member of the Steel Joist Institute Research Committee since 1993, and has been very actively involved in several research projects involving open web steel joists.

Joe lives on a small family ranch in southwest Arkansas, where he enjoys riding horses, working cattle, and visiting with grandchildren.
